Hometown Hero Program History

Originally launched in the summer of 2022, the Florida Hometown Hero's program was developed to help make homeownership more affordable for Florida's Front line workers.  This past summer, July 2023, the program EXPANDED to be more inclusive. It now includes all eligible first time homebuyers, employed full time (35+ hours per week) in Florida. In addition, the income limits were INCREASED so more buyers could qualify!

$100M was released for 2023 on July 1 and all funds were fully reserved by Aug 22, 2023. We are excited to announce an additional $36M in funding was just released November 2, 2023. We anticipate this funding going just as fast - don't wait - contact us today!
